Bio: Gary Huttmann is the Executive Director of MetroPlan Orlando. MetroPlan is responsible under federal and state laws for transportation planning in Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties.
Gary’s worked in the transportation industry in Central Florida for over 30 years. In addition to his work for MetroPlan Orlando he has worked in the private sector and for local government, including the City of Orlando.
Gary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association. Gary serves on a couple of national committees including the Policy Committee of the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations and the Executive Directors Council of the National Association of Regional Councils. He also serves on the University of Central Florida Planning Advisory Board, focused on the Master’s program in Urban Planning, and the Wekiva River Basin Commission.
