Bio: Kyle Simpson, AICP is an Active Transportation Planner for Forward Pinellas, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and land use planning agency for Pinellas County, Florida. Kyle has a Master’s in Regional Planning from the University at Albany (NY) and a bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Central Florida. Kyle is responsible for development and implementation of the Forward Pinellas Active Transportation Plan, managing the nonmotorized count program, and assisting in the implementation of bicycle and pedestrian projects in Pinellas County and throughout the Tampa Bay region.
