Bio: Steve Peterson, AICP, is the Senior Manager of Highway Planning at the Metropolitan Council, the MPO for the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. He co-managed the Intersection Mobility and Safety Study and leads the allocation of over $125 million per year of federal transportation funds to the region and $25 million per year of Active Transportation funds generating by a local sales tax. Steve has an undergraduate degree from St. Norbert College in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
